Plan of Salvation

Q. Who needs to be saved?

A. Everyone.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory
            of God.

Q. What is the penalty for sin?

A. Death.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Q. Is there more than one way to obtain salvation?

A. No. If there were another way Jesus would not had to have suffered
the cross.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.

Q. Does God really love me?

A. Yes. He sent His Son to die for your sins.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and
only Son, that whoever believes in him should not
perish but have eternal life. For God did not send
his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to
             save the world through him.

Q. What must I do to be saved?

A. Confess to God that you are a sinner, believe that Jesus died on
the cross (to save you from your sins) and arose three days later,
and invite Jesus into your heart as your personal savior.

Acts 16:30-31 He then brought them out and asked, "Sirs, what must
I do to be saved?" They replied, "Believe in the Lord
Jesus, and you will be saved --you and your household."

Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord,"
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the
dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart
that you believe and are justified, and it is with
your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Q. When should I accept Christ as my personal Savior?

A. Now. You have no promise of tomorrow.

Proverbs 27:1 Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what
              a day may bring forth.

II Corinthians 6:2 For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell
you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the
                   day of salvation.

Salvation is a free gift.

Like any gift it is not yours until you accept it.
